Scentsy Candles are flameless and wickless. Decorative Scentsy Warmers use a 25-watt light bulb to heat scented wax. The scent is warmed out of the wax without the harm of lead, chemicals or soot releasing into the air. Scentsy Candle Bars have a warm time of up to 80 hours. There are more than 50 unique warmers and over 80 scents to choose from.

The Scentsy Story

The Scentsy story begins in 2003 when Colette Gunnell and Kara Egan created a partnership around this unique idea. A year later, Orville Thompson was introduced to Scentsy at a home show. He then shared the different Scentsy Scents to his wife, Heidi, and her mother and sister.

Just a few months later, Orville and Heidi purchased Scentsy from Kara and Colette. Knowing how easy and natural it would be to share Scentsy products, the Thompsons decided to sell the products directly to customers.

Now, there are more than 240,000 Independent Scentsy Consultants. In 2009, Scentsy was awarded the Rising Star Award by the Direct Selling Association. Also in 2009, Scentsy expanded business to Canada where Scentsy is rapidly growing.

What Makes Scentsy Unique?

Unlike traditional candles where the wax is burned into the air, Scentsy Candles are lead free and wickless. There are no dangerous flames, and because the wax does not burn or evaporate, nothing harmful is released into the air. The wax never gets so hot that you cannot touch it, so it is safe to have around kids and pets. Scentsy has 80 unique and fragrances to choose from, so you are sure to find plenty of favorites!
